High Life Document Review: A Buyer’s Organised Checklist

Create a secure folder before paying any amount. Save the dated brochure, exact unit plan, cost sheet, payment plan and official RERA record. Record the project phase and registration number so information from a different phase is not mixed into your review.

Transaction documents

Retain the application, booking receipt, allotment letter, agreement, specifications, demand letters, payment receipts and tax records. Keep written answers to material questions. Confirm payment bank details through a trusted official channel and protect identity documents.

Loan and handover

Store sanction letters, valuation or legal communications shared with you, disbursement records and insurance. At handover, retain the inspection list, possession record, meter information, warranties, keys inventory and applicable completion or occupancy paperwork.

An organised folder improves traceability but does not prove legal sufficiency. Engage an independent lawyer to review the documents required for your specific unit and transaction.
